At Revs Garage we have been an MOT Testing Station for the past 10 years. We cater for all class IV vehicles including Cars, 4x4's and Light Vans. We run an appointment basis MOT test so the time you book is the time the test is carried out - No waiting in a queue.

What is an MOT?

The MOT is a yearly examination of a vehicle that is over 3 years old. The MOT tests the safety and emissions of your vehicle. Without a currebt MOT certificate you will not be able to renew your road tax. Having a current MOT certificate is a legal requirement in the UK.

When can I book my car in?

You can make an MOT appointment up to 28 days in advance of it's due date without losing any days as the date on your old test is used for your new certificate.

Who carries out the MOT test?

MOT Nominated Testers are qualified to assess your vehicle to the acceptable standards in the current VOSA Vehicle Inspection Manual. These testers are qualified mechanics who have had extensive training and examinations at VOSA Training Centres.

What do I need to take with me?

Remember to take your Vehicle Registration Document (V5) and payment for the test. The old MOT certificate is required (old style MOT certificates only) if you are bringing your vehicle in for it's test before the old test expires.
